Letter to Future Self - FMX project


    A letter to my future self. All that matters to me is that my future self is happy. I hope you are doing something you love. Something that you truly love. I hope you are working hard and never gave up. I know you are probably the girl version of a rich man, but as long as you're kind that's all that matters. I hope you are treating everyone equally and aren't casting biases on other people. I hope you are constantly in a creative and positive mindset, not held up on negative things. I hope bad things have happened to you because good comes from bad. I hope there are deep and hard lessons you've learned that have made you a strong person. If you are in a relationship make sure the love is unconditional and it's what you want, don't waste your time. The friendships that we have now are hopefully still going strong. I hope you talk to Zach, Daniel, Christian, Chance & Vanessa (hopefully you have a niece/nephew by now), and Mom and Dad often. 

    There are so many different experiences and cultures out there that I hope you have immersed yourself in. I know it has always been a dream to be able to travel and explore different cultures, so hopefully, we made that a reality. But I know we did, I know we kept working hard and it all paid off. I hope you trusted the process too much and it exceeded every one of our expectations. You need to stay locked in and always remember to not compare your life to others and that you have full control of your life. If you are doing something you don't love and none of this is true, I hope you get up and go change it, because it’s what you need to do and you know that. 

    Lastly, I hope you are taking care of yourself. Not just going through the motions of the day to get through it, but that you are grateful for everything you have and for what you get to do. I hope you are thriving mentally, physically, and spiritually.

 In my FMX class we used words from our letter to our future self to create calligrams. I picked different words and phrases from my letter to create a new image of my face. This is my first time creating a calligra. in Adobe Illustrator.

Rotoscope Project

 For part of my final projects in FMX 210, we created a rotoscope video. I decided to film a video of me lifting and posing to use for the project. This project took the most time out of all the previous projects, but it combined all the Adobe skills we have learned this semester.
